How to get to Grenoble Airport
The Grenoble Airport is located in the town of Saint Etienne de Saint Geoirs, 28 miles/45 kilometers from the city of Grenoble. That works out to being about a 30 to 40 minute drive by car, depending on traffic.
When accessing the Grenoble Airport look for signs marked St Geoirs and an airplane logo.
To reach the Grenoble Airport by car you need to use the A48 Autoroute - exit 9 Rivres. The A48 Autoroute links Lyon and Grenoble. If you are coming from the South of France, you would at Valence take direction A49. Once on the A49 take it until it ends then take the A48 direction Lyon then exit 9 Rivres. Coming from Geneva/Chambéry use the A43 then the A48 - exit 9 Rivres.
Once you exit the A48 Autoroute follow the signs marked - St Geoirs and an airplane logo.
There is regular coach service to Grenoble, €22 for return. Tickets can be bought at the ticket booth, directly across for baggage claim. Look for the TRANSFERS sign. The Grenoble Airport web site has a 'Scheduled coach transfers' page for travel times.
